i've sorted out my boost controller and got extar cooling so should be sorted now (had sticky calipers, ecu retarted and boost cut making only 177 @ wheels at ava and their fans are ****e, made 220 at wheels at dastek so would like a comparison to star as when i 1st got my car it was 195 there)

Well...no new turbo for me.
Didn't get round to it till 10pm lastnight, chucking rain, and having to do it outside the house..
Ended up we couldn't get two of the up-pipe bolts/nuts off...dont think they were standard fit, none of our sockets were deep enough, and there's only a certain amount of room when you're working on the street !

So car is still sitting with the old turbo and injectors...totally cheesed off..

 

No mate, not an SIDC event. Unfortunately all the allocations are full, but there is a reserve list. Maybe someone will pull out and in you slip.

Right...i'm gonna pull out.

My tmic arrived this morning..but came with no mounting points..as they've not been put in the packaging. And the ones that are on the standard tmic are fixed, so i cant even swap them.

So car is still getting mapped, but with none of the parts i needed..sorry guys.

your not having much luck are ye m8?! the thing that i have learned over the years, and i'm not just talking about scoobs, is not to rush things. cause if you do, it ain't as good as it should/could be. i know you ain't rushing it and it isn't your fault, but when it is done, i'm quite sure it will be better than if it were done for sunday. put it this way, because you wanted it done for sunday, something could have been....well, not right if ye get wot i mean????

I'd been nightshift the night before!. Finished at 6am, meet up with Steve at 10! ..he turned up at ......12.......... He done a nightshift too apparantly, mapping a car 'til 3am!! 'An i thought i looked bad first thing in the morning........

Finished the mapping on mine about 2ish pm...then it was straight off to z-land for a couple of hours before going back into work for 7pm.

Zzzzzzzzzzz.........{snore...zzzzzzz......snore... zzzzzzzz......barp!.......zzzzzzz}

Car is not running too good, idle is sitting at 37 degrees when it should be at 16 degrees so I am told

Was going to run it anyway but now the ABS has stopped working.

I wonder if anything else can go wrong with it :-(
