SIDC Goes To The Japanese Auto Extravaganza 24th/25th July
OK Guys and Girls.
The carpasses for Non-Members will be removed from the shop on Thursday 15th July.
SIDC members then have a final opportunity to get your passes until the Monday 19th July when the Members passes will be removed from the Club Shop.
This is to facilitate the posting out of said passes to everyone.
And there is a limited amount only, so be quick!!!!!

Craig,
I have a car pass and I am travelling down from Central Scotland with the missus after she finishes work on the Friday circa 6PM - we will arrive circa 1AM or after, I understand we can get in then?
We are camping - can we drive the car straight onto the SIDC stand at that time of the morning (and wake the nieghbours
)and is there any way of knowing where all the SIDC campers will be as we will be camping Friday night too?!?!
Any ideas would be great as none of my Scottish chums are going so won't know many (or any) SIDC faces.
Cheers,
Brian.

I would aim to get to the show as early as possible! Before 9am would be good. There are going to be thousands of cars trying to get into this show, and these are just the show cars
Camping - Well I have typed up a set of rules which will be issued with the carpass.
But here goes - Camping is permissable on the SIDC area - However, tents MUST be packed away before 9am each morning. (These are JAE rules, as well as mine) If your willing to do this then fine I'm happy with camping on the club stand. But please don't get a grump on if I'm kicking you out your tent at 08:50am
While I'm trying to get cars parked
The show it's self is laid out completely different than last year, the Traders are in the middle, whilst the club stands are in a circle around the traders area, and a 3rd circle of general camping encircles the club stands, (Make sense).
In easy speak, there is a general camping area, a stones throw away from the club stand, If your not an early riser, especially having had numerous amounts of alcohol, then it may be wise to camp here. It's entirely upto you. You will be still close enough to join in the fun.
WRXmania -
Regarding arrival times at night, I'm not sure, It is a campsite after all, but not sure if they will have someone manning it 24hrs a day.
I have sent you a private message
I believe there are a few camping on the Friday night, I will not be, I will be arriving at 6am Saturday Morning. So if you are on the Club stand, expect some noise. (Sorry, it won't be intentional)
Hope this helps.

Please accept my apologies everyone.
But due to a technical printing difficulty (I forgot to get some of the sheets printed off today) I will not be sending off the carpasses tonight.
Instead I will hope to get them posted off tomorrow evening.
Iw ould expect everyone to have received theirs by the end of the week.
Sorry

I think the idea of camping just outside the sidc area is a good one.
It would make things much easier in the morning with a bad head
I might consider camping on the friday night as well.
Could you let me know which area has been alloted for the sidc club stand, so i can pitch my tent in the adjacent camping area.
Is there anyway of finding out who will be camping on the friday night.

Ok,
It appears there's a slight printing error on the Show and Shine sheet that's with the pass.
On the sheet it reads : 6. Please fill in the Show and Shine slip provided.
There was NO show and shine slip sent with the pass.
I will be issuing these out as you enter, as I don't know what everyone's car is.
Sorry for any confusion.
It was all done in a bit of a rush.
