According to my Garmin Street Pilot III GPS, my fastest speed while in my Scoob so far is: 10,400 miles per hour! :-)
I think that it had a glitch!

Magellan says 151mph down Dottinger Hohe on the Nurburgring. Closed session so I had the whole straight to play with.
And that little kink under the bridge? It's not so little at that speed...

speedo showing 160mph on a flat *empty* private road, 5up.
my99 type ra, standard apart from exhaust.
edited - car has 17s so i think the speedo would have been a bit more accurate than with the standard 16s

145mph before I bottled it, someone on the last page said 70+70+33,
is 173 possible? Did it start to take off?

I heard on here that a UK turbo was geared for 172 MPH, but the ECU will cut boost at 150 MPH. I can however confirm my John Banks ECU will boost all the way to 165 MPH (indicated) at which point I **** myself and bottled out. My mate Mouse had 170 MPH (indicated) in his RB5 with the same mods
Bloody quick enough I reckon

mine will go off the clock but my secs monitor says 158mph, the car was still going well past 160mph on the speedo, seemed like it would go a bit more but it wasn't a suitable road.

130 mph while on the phone drinking a cup if coffee and having a shave while trying to read the sports section of the daily newspaper.
