Rich,

Looks like you've copied from an old list mate. Missing my TD05, Samco's and exhaust again.

Nice place to be stuck.LOL I think Johnny advised me to go for 550`s with a TD05/06. Altho maybe going for the 650`s might give you more scope to go further with the power. Have you asked your mapper what he would prefer with the setup you got.

I wish I could afford the jump to that sort of power gains, but from what Johnny and Harvey have said I would need a FMIC aswell and what with the cost of a TD05/06, FMIC, injectors, also a remap and fitment will have to wait till maybe next year now.

Plus alot of people have started putting doubts in my mind for gearbox and drivetrain reliabilities. I definitely cant afford a rebuild on the gearbox. Or to replace the clutch.

SubTypeR

Your gearbox should be fine for what your looking at even with an FMIC and tdo5/06....... its the UK cars that have the weak gearboxes (just ask Rich Wild ).......... the sti gearbox is fine on my car and I expect it to cope with 500bhp and Bob Rawles has had no issues who is also circa 500bhp.....

As for the clutch - yes maybe that would be an issue - mine went as soon as the power went above 350bhp.............. Have an AP organic clutch on which seems to hold out fine (dont opt for a Paddle plate - they are a nightmare!!)

Re injectors I'd probably opt for the 650's - that way if you did want circa 400bhp they wouldnt present any problem - with 550's I'd have thought you'd have to raise the pressure a fair bit.........

Harvey

You'd have to raise the pressure a fair bit on 550's if you didnt want to run the injectors on their limit............

ME

I'll amend the list later this week with the running order. It will be non- Imprezas, then 01- Imprezas, then classics (or as much like that as is possible)

That way it is an even playing field for everyone, without rollers being shoved back and forth from car to car as certain other RRs do that I've been to (which pretty much means you can throw the results in the bin in terms of comparisons).

If anyone specifically wants to go early/late let me know and I'll try to accomodate you, but at the end of the day only one person can go on at a time, so someone has to go last.

Thanks

Rich

I wouldn't mind going on after a few classics before me. Not too late please, may have to leave before the end.
