How about setting up a Yahoo group or something similar for this to keep us informed nearer the time about routes, meeting points, stops etc etc?
I'm sure these have been done before (catalunya rally springs to mind).

Just a suggestion.

all,
gonna have a wee map for everyone on the day (sti-spec-a sorting

). date is Sunday 6th june. meeting at Loch Lomond Shores (coach parking area)in Balloch for between 0930 and 0945, looking at getting on the road for about 1015 - 1030.

Its not illegal As long as everyones car is TAXED MOT and INSURED there is hee haw the polis can do ......

At this moment only 2 people know the route,thats the way it will stay to minimise any polis monitoring of this thread,you never know Maps will be handed out on the day

Just wondering - its this a cruise or will it have a faster group of loonies? I'd prefer to be in the 'cruise' if I can as I'm a pretty lethal driver and the car makes me look safer than I really am..... hey atleast I'm honest

I reckon other folks might be thinking along same lines.

Also, when we all go for petrol can the slower ones (like me) be at the front of this queue LOL! Equality and fairness and all that....

All,
as Dougster said there will be afew wee guidelines on the day. It's primarily a nice day out and a steady drive. We all know we have fast cars that can get the job done when needed but if we start acting like idiots with the numbers that will be there then the plod will be all over us like a rash, to spoil it for everyone.

i am getting a loan of a couple of those little 2 way radios from a mate, has anyone else got these and are you taking them along, and do you know if these can all be tuned into the same frequency? might be of some use on the day ( early warning of safety vans, etc )

I have two...............**** knows if they'll be on the same frequency as yours or whether they'll be tuneable ? . Range of these beasties is 2km at best so you might be friar tucked in a 61 car convoy
