I dont know why anyone puts up with this sort of crap just for a potential ****. Spare yourself the future self torture and humiliation. Text her back asap and tell her she's not really your type as you prefer more sporty looking women (i.e. fit not fat). Always get the knife in first with women who treat men like some dumb lapdog

So at the mo you know she's out on Saturday night and not around in the week due to assignments. And you found this out through texts. Just ring her for a CHAT, since you feel theres chemistry between you just ask her how she's been etc what you've been up to blah blah and just say you can't wait to meet up again (as she'd already hinted) Whilst on the phone ask her what and where these assignments are and where shes going Sat night, purely as a matter of interest, I mean you do want to get to know her - right?. Usually girls like talking about themselves so she should comply.
Its quite easy to judge how interested she is in you by how the call goes. If you get answer phone I'd leave her a message sayinfg you just fancied a chat, can't wait to meet up next week and for her to give you a call when convenient. If she doesn't get back to you then...well, she ain't that bothered

LOL, yeah Nicci, I like the word might. She also 'might' be making him look like a total plonka. As I said, Vin posted something similar to this not long ago. Perhaps he needs some 'impartial' advice also

I'd say don't bother getting in touch with her anymore. If she's interested she'll get in touch, if she'd not then don't worry. She knows you're interested so the ball's in her court now. I know it's a bit of a game to play it cool, but I find it works most of the time. People just don't find desperation attractive. Not saying you're desperate, but if you're keen it's difficult to mask it.

Go out and see if you can find another girl to take your mind off this one. In fact, go after as many as you can. The more you have 'in the pipeline' the less hurt you will have to endure, as you're not going to be pinning all your hopes on just the one. I've mentioned this before and it makes you sound like a bit of womaniser or something (if only!), but it makes sense. You're only 'dating' in the early stages, so it's best to keep all your options open, as probably more than half will fall away as time goes on.
I have been in the position where I have really liked someone, and then out of the blue you start to get the brush off, and you have to try to figure out what's going on. I wish they could be more direct and just say they don't want to take it any further.

Puff - I understand what you are saying and I am a pretty much "take it or leave it kinda girl".
If I am interested in someone I will let them know, I am not into playing games anymore, too old TBH

Have learnt that if I chased after blokes that I fancied they would not respond, if I played hard to get then I would get a response.
I am now very happy in my relationship, which I will say that I instigated, but which was easy as he use to drink in the pub where I worked.

Leave it a few days and with hold your number.
She wont know who it is so will be conspicuious of to who it is so will answer. Then just have a chat. If she asks why did you with hold your number just say youve been playing about with your phone and you dont know how to alter it again !

I know its difficult if you had such a good night but don't put your life on hold for her!
She's not your girlfriend (yet?!) so continue life as normal and stick her in the back of your mind. Go out with other girls if the opportunity arises. Don't feel guilty because, technically your still free-and-single mate! If she sees you or finds out she should understand. It sounds like you need a companion more than she does.

Vin - That was the best thing to do, now leave it and don't contact her again, if she wants to see you then she will call/text.

I think that you should stay in the room at your home next to the telephone with the curtains closed until she calls, otherwise you might miss it if she does, as long as you have enough water with you the two weeks should pass relatively painlessly
