Was it the standard filter you replaced with it? What was the age/condition of the old one?

Do you reckon you would ever notice a difference though? Take a new (clean) OEM part and put in ITG/K&N/STi whatever....even if the latter options are more free flowing versus an OEM unit do you think you could actualy "feel" the difference? I have to say when I changed my OEM filter for an ITG (which is what the STi is to replace) I didnt. Manufacturers talk of uptp 5bhp but even if you got that I still dont think you could tell...

Just IMO of course rather than any science

I didn't see the old one as the dealer changed it during the service

Don't get me wrong I didn't expect to feel/hear a massive difference.

Its a better quality product so it may last longer I am not sure

Just fitted mine. Anyone else got a MY03 STI and just fitted the filter? Did you find that rubber seal is thicker, therefore the airbox cover doesn't go on easily without slightly bending the flaps into the airbox slots?

Has anyone in the GB NOT received their panel filter. I've never received mine

E-mail Scoobymania today (didn't have time to call), but nothing back as yet.
