Do you reckon you would ever notice a difference though? Take a new (clean) OEM part and put in ITG/K&N/STi whatever....even if the latter options are more free flowing versus an OEM unit do you think you could actualy "feel" the difference? I have to say when I changed my OEM filter for an ITG (which is what the STi is to replace) I didnt. Manufacturers talk of uptp 5bhp but even if you got that I still dont think you could tell...

I didn't see the old one as the dealer changed it during the service

Just fitted mine. Anyone else got a MY03 STI and just fitted the filter? Did you find that rubber seal is thicker, therefore the airbox cover doesn't go on easily without slightly bending the flaps into the airbox slots?
