I have e.mailed Japan every day this week but it hasn't made the filters land here yet. I apologise on behalf of Scooby Mania, it is not relevant as to who is causing the delay as it is us that the buck stops with.

Will be happy to use Scooby Mania again, your updates and apologies are definitely appreciated even though I realise the delays are nothing to do with you. Although you maybe should have known when you entered the agreement for the group buy this was a possibilty....... you must deal with Japan on a regular basis and have an idea of how long things take. Then again maybe the sheer volume caught you by suprise...
Thanks again for the group buy discount. Although no apologies for being impatient lol

Well, I'm now covered in crap. Guess I should have waited until I got home...
First impressions? Well made. Fits the airbox like a glove, whereas the K&N it replaced needed a shoe horn.
Performance increase? Possibly. The K&N was about 8 months old, was bone dry, and was absolutely filthy on the bottom where it sucks air in, so logically it should be an improvement. Either that or placebo effect...

Got home last night and the filter had arrived.
Won't get chance to fit it for over a week due to work committments.
Thanks to Chris_D for setting this up and Mike Tuckwood/Scoobymania agreeing to do this knowing full well he would get a load of $hit due to not being able to deliver immediately lol! (despite telling everyone they were coming from Japan )

Yep, mine had arrived, but the DAMN FVCKING DOG chewed the package. The rubber seal has come free on one corner and awaits some superglue. The seal isn't damaged, just not vulcanised to the metal frame.
The dog got a bollocking for that I can tell you....

Has anyone else fitted theirs yet? Like Phil Stephens, I'm curious as to other people's views. Especially anyone who's replaced a relatively new filter with the STi...
