opps cleaned out the car and chucked about 20 away, didn't even look at them.

I'd bet the odds of it being in a land fill are a lot better than that. You chucked 20 away, but I'd bet that millions of other cards have also been thrown out. The odds of one being in a tip somewhere - probably 80%.

So, there's your answer. Crawl through every single land fill site in the UK, you're pretty likely to find the card.

I'm only 24 cards short of a full set. If someone could send me all 24, please, I'll buy you a pint.

 

You've got to admit, it's an excellent marketing ploy. All these people suddenly realise that the one car needed to get rich is the Maserati GT Coupe. How many people have been to Shell to see if they can bag the winning card?

This competition has only been running a couple of weeks hasn't it? I also have 23 of trhe cards, but is it just me or is there suddenly a huge variation in price of Optimax.

A fortnight ago I filled up near Cranbrook, price was 79.9 a litre, whereas those near Gatwick were 82.9 or more a litre. This week the garage at Cranbrook wanted 84.9 a litre but Wadhurst 10 miles down the road wanted 81.9.

The price seems to vary by the day.

 

I too need the Maserati (I have the Blue one and the Quadtroporte)
I also got a wadge of about 12 packs given to me at a shell station.
he gave me my change and I asked for the cards, and he had to go to the other till to get them so he grabbed a stack and gave them to me

2 Weeks ago the local Shell in St Albans increased its Optimax by 2 ppl

I assumed this was due to the up and coming budget and they wanted extra £'s ahead of time

 

the dudes at my shell garage are quite cool, and anytime they forget to give you them and you have to ask for them, they give you like 10 packs.

 

Got a complimentary ticket card today worth SIX POUNDS whoopee!!!

 

Yeah total rubbish as 90% of the time you have to ask for the cards!!!

The entry card would be nice though as lets face it you've as much chance of winning the lottery as getting the Maserati card (I've had about 50 packs to date)
