East Sussex Scoobies meet March 20th
Who organises these meets?!
Chelsea are at home this saturday and on April 17th so I can't attend either
, and i so wanted to sort the handling mods on my STi7. Oh, hang on, they've already been done. If anyone needs any encouragement then its well worth it.
So, I meant I wanted to hear your suggestions for my next car. Been thinking of jacking in Scooby ownership and finding something cheaper. Thought about it before, but maybe this summer will be the right time to make the move. Don't really fancy stripping the car of all the bits, and then selling, but seems the logical way to go. Am trying to put it off, but it seems inevitable.
Just haven't found the right £5k car that appeals yet. Needs to be economical to run/insure but still with some degree of fun. Anyone got any bright ideas?

Mark!
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you sell, Subarman will haunt all your dreams forever, your skin will turn to lycra and your head will turn blue (and that's just for starters).
Threat over!!!!
You will always be welcome at our meets, even in a Morris Minor)

nothing wrong with suggesting a Saxo VTS, I used to have one and I loved it, great little car. Thankfully it was in my pre-modding days, if I had one today then it would have silly big brakes on it, plus a turbo kit on it
mmmm.
mmmm.
Don't think I will be there as I have to clear my parents garden!! probably in the rain.
I will try and make the next one with my friend Russ in his Sti4 and introduce him to you.
Keith - nowt wrong with moggy minors. Lots of 20mph rwd sideways fun for £500. And if you do bounce it into a lampost at 18mph you haven't broke the bank. Although if you look at it the other way they are old sheds.
Don't know what car to go for next only have a budget of 7-8k a Uk car another WRX???
Glen your car is looking very good. Personaly I think I liked it a bit more before, but it looks like that you have done a great job on it. Look forward to seeing it.
Hope you all have a good meet. You have all had a narrow escape as I would have shown you all a clean pair of heels in my 1.0 micra over beachy head anyway
Best wishes all
Steve

Steve, I've never really been one to do the norm, like to be a little different and divide opinion ! I think it will be alright, when it's finished
Have fun in the garden tomorrow...rather you than me ! NB. we come over your way a bit now and then, I'll txt u next time in case you're about.
Guys, hope the weather holds for the meet tomorrow. G&Cx

Have owned two Minors - one as recently as 10 years ago. Owned an Austin A35 until last year! Now that was a monster!!!!!! Its registration number resides on our Forester now.
Just going out to have a word with the weather!!!!!!!!

Well you didn't miss much! Diabolical weather!!!! If you thought better of it (particularly those travelling from afar) then we hope to see you in the future. Our meeting next month will better suit those coming from a westerly direction. More details in due course.
Thanks to Jason and his brother in law, Steve and Helen, Simon, and Kevin for turning up in such atrocious weather. We all stood around (or got blown around) till 3.15 and then called it a day (there was no popping indoors for a drink!!!!) I suppose the fact that three of us were pilots of the "Triple Five" meant we were made of stern stuff, what with being dressed in our flying suits and all!!!! No disrespect to Steve, he wasn't even wearing a flying suit!
I suppose the one interesting factor was that Wagons outnumbered saloons for the first time ever!!!! Hardy lot Wagon owners (or fools!!!!). Pictures of this stupendous landmark in history will no doubt be on the website soon, and you can all marvel at the fact that TWO of the Wagons are now bar-less. It's obviously catching!
