40 Gb Ipod
I think Jack meant that with iTrip he can broadcast a FM signal from his iPod that can be picked up by any radio, ie car, house, neighbour etc.
That's what swung it for me, decent case for gym/jogging, lighter weight, smaller size and fantastic UI, the scroll wheel is amazing
regards,
greg

lots of sellers on ebay who apparently sell to the UK, with very good feedback, however have you seen the UK Apple refurb store, opens every wednesday and has apparently had iPods
http://promo.euro.apple.com/promo/refurb/uk/ also has £14 off voucher for 1st time Buyers to the Apple UK Store.
(Valid until 20th March 2003 on a minimum order of £139 + VAT) The Coupon code and Rebate will automatically apply on the final checkout Page.
or this, was under £320 earlier in the week

In fact, the Apple refurb store still seems to have stock, 20gb comes in at £209.00

). Not only that, but they've had some exceedingly good reviews. If I was going to go jogging with it, then I might want something smaller, but as I only use it for work, it's ideal. As for listening in the car, I just plugged the zen into the aux in of my head unit. No need for nasty lossy fm broadcasts

Be careful with eBay. I've heard some horror stories about people loosing their money etc, but as long as you go with a recommended (from more than one place) supplier, you should be safe.

I would argue that the device could affect about 10% of the quality, the headphones would account for the other 90%.

That is a very good point, I switched from the Apple headphones to Sony ones (manly because I didn't want to walk around with white wires) and the sound quality is much better than the standard ones.

The format may be the same, but the security isn't.
And Microsoft won't have control of my music because I'll keep encoding it with the non-drm version of wma

iTunes end user encoded AAC's do not contain FairPlay, just the same as your non-DRM WMA files
