I hope you all have a great time! I go every year but last year was so pi$$ed off with the french going out of there way to be a pain in the &rse so will miss this year and hope it gets better.
We arn't football holigans and we didn't send blokes to Iraq we are just petrol heads so don't see what there problem was!
The worst thing was every year the comentry is in English, last year was only french not bad with 100,000 + brits, it took a while to find out what happened to some cars on the track!
Cheers Col (I'm not normally a moaner and I hope you all love it)

If I remember rightly the eqivalent of Optimax in France is called something like V-Max, certainly had no problem running my Scooby on it last year.

Regards

Robin

Most garages (certainly all autoroute ones) carry 98Ron fuel as standard. Most commonly Elf petrol pumps carrying 98Ron. No problem in finding it - in fact its easier than hunting for optimax!

just got back too, one of the best places i have ever been to, even leaving the race to one side, everyone who likes cars must visit the "mecca" at least once in a lifetime, saw more rare cars in one place than all the shows i have ever been too. saw 6 ferarri f40's!!! i only saw 1 GT40 though!!

everyone loved my car too, especially on the 80 mile rouen to lemans a-road. Honda S2000, BMX 735 alpina, pah they ate my rubber!! best trip there, best time there, great journey back, shame about the football!!

I just got back, I was with a small group of friends - we had some nice machinery with us inc 1 F40 and 1 GT40.

I managed to get my scoob onto the track and got some nice shots of it near the dunlop bridge.

Will post late on in the weekend when I get home as I am in London on work till the weekend.
