Moral Dilema - Your thoughts please
I agree with you Yoza, grassing them up probably wont stop the guy sellin' and certainly won't stop the people buyin', they'll just go somewhere else for it! I just see an oportunity for free pizza and really don't give a damn about the guys job. Also, if theres a possibility that it could lead the police to some bigger fish that are woth fryin' then I'd do my bit for the good of the community too (while eatin' my free pizza
)!
)!
lol- i wonder how the "let them carry on" people would feel when they wake up to find chavs in their bedroom demanding the keys to, what is about to become....the chavmobile!
you think the ppl involveds ilegalities end at serving ****e food???

I feel you have to report it.
This happened in a family Pizza place, where children are about. For that reason alone the guy doing cannot get away with it.
If you saw this in the bogs at a nightclub between the attendant and his mate I doubt you would be posting this moral dilema, because you probably wouldn't report it.
But in this case the guy is a ***** for selling his drugs so openly. If he thinks that this is OK and is so inconsiderate to his surroundings then I wonder what else he'll consider OK when he becomes a full adult.
IMO report it now, Family Pizza houses are in the public interest where drug dealing is concerned (although I doubt its proper dealing, I'm sure it was a mate dropping by).
I know where to get my drugs, but I don't call by the guys workplace to get them

The whole reason for me mentioning the incident was because it happened so openly in public area where food is sold. It was early evening and in a relatively small village area not town centre, at midnight with the local chavs milling about. Then when we left to see a family enter, were they going to witness a similar scene? Hopefully not.
I think I'll go with BMWhere's suggestion. Mmmmmm Pizza, Whoohooo FREE pizza.

Guys I hope you dont mind me saying so but there are some awfully naive 'shocked from Tunbridge Wells' type reactions here, accompanied by some imaginative 'what if' picture painting.
He was probably passing on something as a favour for a mate - drug dealers do not operate in this manner. Well not 'proper' ones anyway
This was not a scenario leading up to someone stealing your Scoob due to craving drugs - just some (employed) idiot in a pizza shop. It was speed or a small bag of coke not crack or heroin after all...
Where was the pizza house and what's on The Special
Its just kids...but shop him if you want. In the bigger picture this is SO irrelevant but shopping him is not wrong if it sits rightly for you.

Thing that would bother me, is what happens if working boy accidentally spills some into somebodies Pizza. Then that person has an interesting experience (that could be fatal)
Basic Hygene!
Call the plod!

I would say shop him, he is breakin the law and there is no comeback to yourself because he wont even know who did it, I cant believe the amount of the "cops do nothing but persecute motorists" brigade above saying leave him alone, give them something to do other than pick on motorists!! I'm sure the local plod would take great delight doing an obbo in a pizza place while having a large pepperoni courtesy of the taxpayer
No doubt - call the police, anonymously via crimestoppers if you want to.
Dealing in drugs, whether big or small time is not something that anyone should be turning a blind eye to. Sure it was probably 'only' speed but every thieving crack head starts their addictive cycle somewhere.
As has been mentioned most burglaries, muggings, theft etc are carried out in order to fund drug habits.
And yes it happens a lot everywhere - if more people had the guts NOT to turn a blind eye then maybe it wouldn't.
Without doubt call the police, and this from someone who spent 7 years taking every sort of drug - hard and 'soft' - he could get his hands on.

Just had a pizza, it was very nice, but then again i didnt ask for any extra's
Do the right thing. Report them to the police. If you are worried about it, use crime stoppers. Dont bother reporting it to the manger of the place. What's he going to do, fill out an offfical report to his bosses saying, oh yes, there may have been some drug dealing going on whilst I was on duty...

Well, errrm, yes, I stand corrected; I seem to have missed the point! If it gets the cops out of their cars and off the streets SHOP HIM! And mention anyone that looks like a bit of a stoner / large pupils to them too for good measure

The passing of a packet containing an unknown substance is not illegal.
The contents has to be identified before any charges could be laid.
This has obviously has not happened.
End of story.
Oh - And nobody likes a grass

If the attitude is that it won't do anything significant to stop drug pushing then the problem will just get worse and worse and more young people will have their lives ruined. Drug pushing is a really bad offence and I think you should report it taking care to keep your anonymity. I am sure the cops would respect that,
It can't be considered as "grassing" if you look at what is really important and that is to save future disaster for young people. You just have to remember the character of those who are prepared to sell drugs for their own edification regardless of the damage and misery that drugs cause.
