Happy new year...

I'm thinking about going out tomorrow if the wind holds out (which it's not at the moment). I dropped into West Kirby this afternoon on the way somewhere, to find about 25-35 knots, and I didn't have any gear with me

It'll be the first time this year if I do go out though - I'm in a new job, so it's not quite so easy these days as I'm all over the country. I'll get out there one of these days though

Having said that, I believe the wind's been pretty useless anyway in the NW

 

Well we had a week or so of vicious south-westerlies - to balance out the dirth of wind of any kind since march 10 ......
3 days of 35 knts - too much for me - but did manage reasonble afternoon last thursday? on Drops 87 which developed another zipper crack.. and then on my Naish wavequest 70 and a 5.3 ...

 

Have you lot gone gay ie gone kitesurfing

 

Not me I just haven't been out in a while Different job now, so I'm always away, and been out about twice this year.... Good though

Anyone else?

 

Saw some top notch kitesurfing last week at Gwithian (near me). May have to take it up soon.
Am an average windsurfer but decent level surfer.
