He has given the Ok to PARK ON THE GRASS outside the front of the pub.
we will be able to do this at every surrey meet unless there is a marque etc there.

If we all park in a line facing the road it should make a good Photo.

Wouldn't mind going to this, but dependant on what I am doing Saturday night, oh and renewing my life insurance for the drive from Newlands to the pub! LOL!

Now that I've worked out which week of March we're actually in, it looks like I will be able to make this after all.

 

I am sure you did Paul but I was not sure of where I was going so had to keep up which meant I used some driving skills which I would not normally use

By god it was fun

 

The drive is the fun part (the little 1 lane hump back bridge down ripley lane etc ) good thing its on a sunday and there is not much traffic/tractors...

I remember in December Meet almost going head to head with one of those big 4X4's, like the Landcruiser Amazon affairs, on that little bridge.

It was amazing how much more poo I was able to put in my pants! LOL!

He's in denial! Just ask yourself this; do you REALLY believe it takes 4 months to complete a few tweeks? We haven't seen the black beast (the car, not Frank) since December. In his quest for more power, Money's traded it for a car more suited to a bean counter - a mild mannered 1.6gl WAGON. His original plan was to use the extra cash from the trade in to convert the wagon into a twin engined Impreza. For those in the know, this appears a very sensible idea, as we all know the 4 door car is a little short of space for this level of modification. Unfortunately, Money's been soooo busy organising 'group buys' that in the mean time, he has grown to like the humble 1.6. Of course, he know's how much stick he'll take from his mates, hence the story of the 'ongoing modifications'. Remember where you heard it first.
