i agree that to forget to put oil in is very bad indeed but when was the last time somebody said that their service was outstanding and the bill was cheap, it's probably never happened and thats because mud sticks everybody forgets the good things and only remembers the bad things that other people make.
if someone asked me to recommend an electrician or plumber or builder that i had used that had never made a mistake, ripped me off, or gave me a really cheap quote i couldnt and thats because i can only remember the bad things they did. which included wiring the bathroom lights so they blew the fuse everytime i put them on, plumbers who forgot to put the earth wire on the metal pipework under the sink, and dont even remind me about the builder!!!

I had my Hyundai serviced by a Hyundai dealer (less than 3 years old at the time), drove it for about 8 miles and she blew big style!!! You know like when the F1 cars go with all the smoke out the back of the car. And there was oil everywhere.

Anyway they recovered the car, put her right and no more woz said.

Tell you something, I'd never take another car there again. Though I wouldn't stop anyone else. I reckon they just set the apprentice on mine

Thumbs down

Scoobyboy... don't agree with that at all. I have no hesitation in recommeding good service. Without hesitation i will recommend Prosport and Jap Innovations and you here a lot of people on here doing the same. Reason.... like you say because of good service and a cheap bill. I have never had any of the above from a dealer. One of them even had the front to argue with me that my car doesn't run a MAP sensor FFS . The labour rate of a dealer means that compared to specialists the bill can not be considered cheap.... unless a FFSH is required a wouldn't touch a dealer (in the Manchester area) with a ****ty stick (and yes **** does stick!)

Tony.

i had a problem with my local dealer a few months back after they'd serviced my car, found one of the wheel nuts loose then i had a misfire on it and found out that the plugs hadn't been gapped properly and one was finger tight!!! they'd changed the oil and only put semi back in it, went back and went mad so they give me £50 off my next service but i've lost confidence in them now and they'll never change the plugs in it again.
