<B>Jim,
Where are you buying the oil from at that price? It is very cheap. It works out to 15,200 GRD for 4 litres. I paid 20,000 GRD for 4 litres. I had half a litre left over, so only needed 4 litres.

Hi WREXY
Sorry but this time I am in vacations in Skopelos.
I buy the Castrol from a dealer here - witch is client from my job - without VAT (I don't care the Tax and yes this is illegal!).
If you want we can buy together a box in lower price than 3.800 grd!

Very informative!
According to Mr. Dave Wolman from Motul the 15-60 LeMans was made to tackle fuel dillution problems in 24 hours racing like at LeMans.
I don't know the usefulness of this oil in our engines and without any experience I am not sure if it is good or bad for turbo cars like Impreza.
Althought the main Fiat-Alfa Romeo service here suggests only Motul 15-50 for the turbo Uno, Punto, Coupe etc. And bear in mind that they are suppliers of a different brand of italian oil, I can't remember the name this time!
Cheers
Jim

One point worth considering is that Motul 300 contains polyol ester basestock which is supposed to hold up better to high temperatures than other types of synthetic basestocks.
Here in the States, Redline is the only other brand of synthetic that uses polyol esters.

Also give consideration (dependant upon your own RANGE of climatic conditions) to which is better suited, A 10-60 oil is being working over a wider temperature range that a 15-50.
I use (and stock) Millers (10-60), and Motul 300V (15-50), I change my oil around the 3K-4K region. + before and after a track day.
For Winter I ocassionally run Mobil 1 0-40, as it's quicker to get going, don't forget the majority of engine WEAR occurrs at and shortly after warm up.
Like both Bob R, and John F, state; this is not a straight forward case of X is better than Y. (Well not entirely).
