Depends if you mind paying an extra £10 - and we might not be able to get a Saturday soon, as weekends are bound to be more poular...

As for Beauty Sleep....Prefer Burnin the candle at both ends and sleepin at work LOL

No ..Really...It is coz of work that it will make it difficult. Being an IT Contractor...I dont get paid for time off

I dont mind payin an extra tenner and waitin alittle longer...

Whats the opinion on SN???

Right I'm going to make this a weekend date - this will add an extra £10 to the price....I will need the money up front as I need to pay the full amount when I book it. I will ring them in the morning to see when the next available weekend is

Pele,

A weekend would be better unless you do it after the clocks go back. Although the place is floodlit, they are not the best lights in the world with a kind of horrible orange glow to them.

In the rain, in the dark, in Feburary, on slick tyres, the place can be a nightmare. On a good day, it's one of the best tracks around with certainley the best facilities now with the new clubhouse.

Bartman,

It depends on what you want. Grand Prix or sprint events are good for mano v mano and gives you lots of short races - you can afford to mess a heat up then. Endurance races are fun but you need to try and balance the teams which in our case would be nigh on impossible to do.

We did one of the championship races last august and it worked out to about £40 each for a 2 hour endurance race for 4 of us. Sprint races are generally more expensive as you have more karts on action and more organising to sort out the heats etc.

Dave

PS Was it you I saw down at Medway Hospital before Xmas. If so, I was in the green classic that followed you out making swift progress
