Just seen a white WRX RA, (not an STI version) for sale, with nearly twice the mileage of mine, for £7495 from a dealer.
Is my asking price way off the mark?
Open to honest opinion fellas!
Cheers

Cheers for the bttt Roy!
Wasn't planning to p/x, but MIGHT possibly. Can you email me with any details/pics of your Clio, together with an idea of what you'd be asking for it?
Thanks mate!

Hi mate.
Got the one you sent with the pics of your Clio, and replied right back, but I take it you didn't get my reply?
If you want to put your email up again, I'll have another go!
Cheers mate!

Cool

No worries Roy!
Did you note the new asking price of £8000? I've seen a few cars I'd like to have a look at now, so looking to speed things up a bit. Cant go any lower than that though, so would keep the car rather than let it go for less.

Best wishes

Mart

Default Not a standard RA

Mart

I've been looking for an RA for a while now.
They didn't do a standard RA in that colour in 96.The only ones in that colour where the following.

WRX STI Ver II 555 edition
WRX V-Limited
WRX type RA / STI Ver II V - limited

As you have the roof vent we can rule out the std WRX , but looking at the pics your car should have the high level rear spoiler?? to be one of the other 2.

Not trying to nit pick just making sure you know what your selling and people know what they are buying.

Hi Chris.

The high level spoiler is included in the sale, as stated in the ad. I don't know why it was ever removed, it may be that it wasn't supplied with the car at new, and was subsequently fitted and removed after purchase.

The car is a V-limited STI, hence the 555 Blue. (I said in the ad that it was a rare colour). If it was a 555 RA, it would have been decked out in the 555 livery and decals, although some owners requested their cars were delivered minus the decals from the factory, probably the non-smokers!

I think the bottom line is that Subaru were releasing as many as four limited editions per year, with V-limited models of special editions etc, and on top of that, we just don't know what prospective new owners managed to negotiate with the dealers in terms of options and colour schemes. To this end I've never worried too much about the exact details. It looks like an STI RA, it says STI RA on the boot, and by god it goes like a STI RA!

Finally, the car was imported by NewEra Imports, one of the most respected importers, and highly spoken of by other Japanese car clubs, and I trust them to know their STI's from their WRX's.

Hope this clarifies things for you.

Regards

Mart

I can't believe that this car is still for sale!!

I have a Ver 2 STI RA and it is the best Scooby for out right pace! This car is very keenly priced and will show amost all newer models how it should be done!

Good Luck Matt.
