Tel, no contradiction was implied. Just wanted to make sure my information was correct.
It related to the thread in that you have to be very careful to call something "racism", as races aren't always clearly defined.
K., if hope you don't mind me asking, and you may have posted before, what nationality or origin (like that better than "race" actually) are you ? No disrespect intented.

Jews who don't believe in God but still feel Jewish - that's a cultural identity, not racial. One can convert to Judaism - a religion, but you can't convert to be an Arab. From studies that I have read Jews will adamantly tell you that they are NOT a race and that confusion can lead to incorrect statments such as yours. If you go down the 'blood line' arguement then all Christians are Jewish...
Now, if RKS had said 'Israelis' rather than Arabs...
Now, if RKS had said 'Israelis' rather than Arabs...
Hang on - the Jews are not a 'race' and neither are the Arabs. You're confusing culture and religion with 'race' and its not correct.
I've said this before and I'll say it again - there are only three acknowledged races on this planet: white/caucasian; black/negro and mongol/oriental. Look it up if you don't believe me...
Arabs are an 'ethnic' group, albeit a significant one. Jews or Judaism refers to a religion, not a race. The majority of 'modern' Jews have no anthropological links to the middle east whatsoever - in fact most of them, like most other caucasian people, originally came from the Caucasus region of southern Russia/central Asia.
If you must refer to 'race' try referring to the 'human race'....to which I presume we all belong?
(edited to say that some anthropologists argue that indigenous Australasians - ie Mauri & Aborigine - do in fact make up a fourth 'race', but hey, I'm no expert)

ok let me explain it
their is NO SUCH THING AS JUDAISM OR JEWS IN THE TORAH
yep look it up they were known as hebrews and in the arabic tongue early muslims from the seed of isaac and jacob
well their were 12 tribes and the ruling tribe after the wars etc etc was the tribe of judah and they all merged and they stayed in a place called judea and all the foreign people who weren't hebrews or were not worshippers of the one God , they used to call these hebrews jews coz they lived in judea and they said they follow some religion of the unseen God called judaism, well the others gave them that name but themselves werent known as jews at the time
so if u look at the books of the torah they is no such thing as JEW
i hope u get what u mean, we muslims call early jews muslims coz muslim means submitter to the one God or believer of the one God etc
but like i said some jews believe they are a race.
if u ever look at the european jews going to palestine they didnt have brown skin or they werent dark they were blue eyed and white skin and blonde hair etc with some who had dark hair and dark eyes
they married non jews etc and thats how they became like that
the original hebrews lived among muslims in palestine, arabia, yemen , iraq and iran etc and turkey

The Jews (original Hebrews, if you wish) were around before Jesus. And as He was born 600 years (is that right? Or is it 1100 years?) before Mohammed, surely there weren't any muslims then?
It's true that they lived in the same area, but I'd be inclined to suggest that the tribes of the area - the Ephraimites, Gileadites and so on - weren't generally of one religion at all but were pagans.

50. " '(I have come to you), to attest the Torah which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.
51. " 'It is Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.'"
52. When Jesus found unbelief on their part he said: "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims."
53. "Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Messenger. then write us down among those who bear witness."
54. And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah.
55. Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.
56. "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with severe agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."
57. "As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong."
58. "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom."
59. The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.
60. The Truth (comes) from thy Lord alone; so be not of those who doubt.
51. " 'It is Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.'"

60. The Truth (comes) from thy Lord alone; so be not of those who doubt.
47. O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others (for My Message).
48. Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).
49. And remember, We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: They set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons and let your women-folk live; therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord.
50. And remember We divided the sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh's people within your very sight.
51. And remember We appointed forty nights for Moses, and in his absence ye took the calf (for worship), and ye did grievous wrong.
52. Even then We did forgive you; there was a chance for you to be grateful.
53. And remember We gave Moses the Scripture and the Criterion (Between right and wrong): There was a chance for you to be guided aright.
54. And remember Moses said to his people: "O my people! Ye have indeed wronged yourselves by your worship of the calf: So turn (in repentance) to your Maker, and slay yourselves (the wrong-doers); that will be better for you in the sight of your Maker." Then He turned towards you (in forgiveness): For He is Oft- Returning, Most Merciful.
55. And remember ye said: "O Moses! We shall never believe in thee until we see Allah manifestly," Thereupon ye were dazed with thunderbolt even as ye looked on.
-----------------------
84. And remember We took your covenant (to this effect): Shed no blood amongst you, nor turn out your own people from your homes: and this ye solemnly ratified, and to this ye were witness.
85. After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (their enemies) against them, in guilt and transgression; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.
86. These are the people who buy the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter: their penalty shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped.
87. We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!
88. They say, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word: we need no more)." Nay, Allah's curse is on them for their blasphemy: Little is it they believe.
---------------------------
110. And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah. for Allah sees Well all that ye do.
111. And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."
112. Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
113. The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (to stand) upon." Yet they (profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
