Wink Delfino Feroce

By the way - the Delfino Feroce has still not made it to production,

it made it to the press - got on telly etc.

Next time it appeared it was on the London TV news and Evening Standard after being stolen!

Headline was something like "Million £ prototype stolen by joyriders!"

Later turned up having been nicked by traffic wardens for being illegally parked and got towed to a pound!

Just phoned these guys (adrenaline). They are finishing off their initial demo car for the kit car show at Snetterton on 28th August and also will be at Doninghton for a show on 16/17 Sept (neither of which I can make).

The kit is currently costing £11,500+vat but they are negotiating with suppliers to try to get this ex vat figure below £10k. According to the chap there it includes absolutely everything minus the donor stuff from a GC8. He told me that its just a case of bolting things off your scoob, then bolting them onto the kit. It uses the engine, gearbox, diffs, struts, brakes, loom and seats from a GC8.

I'm interested. Having made such a huge investment in the impreza but havign a car that is worth bugger all except for the engine, gearbox, diffs, struts etc, and being fed up with the looks and chav-factor, it has made my ears ***** up.

LOL - but still waiting for the EJ25 build to be fitted so I can see what it can do and move forward with something more interesting

I've seen a few space-framed Imps since this thread, and if I was staying in Swissieland would go that route. Here a lot will depend on what mechanic friends I find!
