Hi Megabusa
Thats what I thought looking at all the pictures Ive seen of the WRX special additions they all have the sti front bumper with the corner splitters and without these it will look horrible. I have got some sti side skirts coming from
sti racing .com and he can supply the front splitter for £310, have you any idea what you are going to charge for yours?
Regards
John
PS thanks for the replies, am glad you know your my 03/04 stuff.

UPDATE:
We layed one up in wet carbon, the mould didn't suit this method, we are currently laying them up in pre-preg autoclave carbon (the method used in Formula 1 manufacture). Looking very nice, very very light, very very very strong!

The black and grey carbon, when lacquered, is the same finish as the bodywork and they would look great together. They can also be supplied in GRP either white to be painted, or black (or many other colours for that matter) and are quite inexpensive.

Looking a bit dull but its the first one, before trimming and lacquering.

How long before you expect to be able to start delivering them to customers?
Mind you, I suppose it will take me a couple of weeks to get the Sti corner splitters on first (I have a WRX)!

How are you planning to fit the STi corner splitters to your WRX bumper? I've been told they only fit on Sti bumpers (seems there's a difference between bumpers). Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers.

there is a thread on here about that. Need to cut some slots in the creases on the front bumpers for three tabs to go through, then the rest of the fittings should screw to the bottom of the bumper. Jasoon posted some pics of the splitters.
Don't know if they come with fixings. If not, what do people recommend to use?
By the way, my local dealer has none in stock and none showing in the UK Warehouse, so it might take a while to come in. I'm tempted just to order some from japan/US with the splitter in one go.

Here's a couple of pics which might be of help....the corner splitters as removed from my STi.
I think you can see where the tabs are which will need holes in your bumper to locate it
If you are buying new ones, they will come with 3 press fitting attached.
These are held on by plastic rivets and will have to be removed in order to fit the WRX.....I only have one left as I was a bit ham-fisted taking them off

I seem to remember reading on here that Jim Theo bonded his onto his WRX
and it may be worth knowing that those 3 tabs locate into a steel bracket on the inside of the STi bumper,so bonding them on is probably your best bet.

Hasn't been lacquered. The originals (wet lay) were going to be but prepreg has such a nice finish it doesnt require it. It can be lacquered but its a tricky process and expensive. Carbon fibre is a difficult thing to photograph too!

How much is "expensive to get it lacquered"? I definitely like it but was hoping for bling
I.E. like the finish on this carbon blade spoiler, on my last car?
Cheers
