johnfelstead wrotes that Type R has suretrack R180 diff on the rear. I believe now, it looks the same as in new age STi - R180 (except final ratio). But many people here said that rear diff is plated type (like kaaz or cusco??). Could you clarify it?
What is better choice for the rear diff?

the rear diff is not suretrac and I don't see where john wrote that it was.

the r180 in all standard forms I know of is always plated.

please show me otherwise as I want one.

Sorry my mistake. John said Suretrack LSD on the front.

But what about R180 from new age Sti (+ different ratio - no problem to do conversion) + axles etc? Yesterday I saw technical drawings and Suretrack looks to have ability to full lock..........
