Edited to say sorted it but only added a few as took too long to type so please feel free to add me and invite me to races as I ended up racing a load of French nutters and we all know they drive like lunatics

Bravo ..... Type in the names into the add friends part and it will send a request to them a bit like MSN.

when they accept you can see what they are playing and invite them to your game

good race last night with eight of us.

Guys - u can answer me this. If I buy the Xbox live starter kit with 12 months subscription (approx £34.99), do I have to pay anything else per month? I thought it was 12 months paid up front then £4.99 per month from then. A few mates at work reckon not.

12 months free with the pack + the headset ..... I don't know what it is after that

but you do have to put a credit card in when you sign up

Oh and I did some races in single player so I earnt enough kudos to go and buy the scooby for scooby only races

Haven't got a headset yet but sorting that out this week. How do you switch off voice so the icon doesn't appear next to my name as these French geezers were trying to talk to me last night and I couldn't talk back so they thought I wasn't there and kicked me off

Played 'the ring' for the frist time last night and what a track lol

Some of the gamertags dont work, perhaps people should check and amend where needed, syntax errors me thinks

If people could cut and paste the list when adding their name it would be helpful, saves someone else doing it and means they wont miss out when someone does do this. I have noticed a few people arent on the list because of this. Up to peeps to check I suppose

You need to first add the above list to your friends list at the Xbox live console.

You can then check your friends list to see who is online and what game they are playing....

thanks mate, I think I've got most of those in now.

couple of "Q's " if ya dont mind

Any ideas as to why I keep getting dissconnected from "Live" happens about every half hour.

Also, the headset thing, I cant hear voices clearly, they keep breaking up,

any help or advice welcome

sounds like your lagging from the games a bit !

when you select a game go for the most green bars you can , the more the faster connection you have.

craigdaaavid, start up a new thread if you are having troubles and we will see if we can help you out. Let us know who your ISP is, how you are connecting (what are you connecting your XBox to and with what) and as much info as you can.
