across the road from me...
Buzz...you seem pretty pally with the bodyshop owner - ask him how much that lot has cost.
Why do people b@stardise cars like this - have they no ******* shame at all?
Are there women out there that actually respond to this kind of thing? , I assume thats the main reason behind "wayne's" masterpeice ( corsarossa evo 9 ).

I am told it's coming back again later today, I'll try to get some of the front
It's got a horribly loud exhaust, and the bloke couldn't help but sit there revving it when he arrived and wheel spinning it away when he left

Picture was taken through the window, so don't pre-judge the paintwork yet
I've just had the bodyshop owner over here, I've been sendin a fax for him... the car has just returned - once the chap clears off I'm going over twith the camera
And as for the cost... it was delivered to the bodyshop with all the bits attached. All the chap has paid to have done is the filling, sanding and painting.
Anyone care to guess how much he's charged for it?
OK, off to get some pics

your wait is over...

The guy fitted all the body bits himelf, he's only asked the body shop to fill and paint it... and thats cost him £600..
So far the car stands him at £6000, including purchase.
And where are the doorhandles? It's electronic keyless opening apparently... but there's no drivers side window in yet anyway

my guess on the cost...
650 Kgs of filler = £800
300 hrs of labour @ say £25 per hour = £7500
3 Hectares of sandpaper in various grades = £1700
2 tins of green spray paint from Halfords = £5
Total cost of job= £10,005.
Actual value of car = £250 ( this assumes a current MOT certificate.

To be fair, the bodyshop did not choose the kit - they just did the work asked of them. How they held the paint straight while laughing is anyone's guess. Maybe that's why the wheels have been "upgraded" too.
It's definitely different. On the plus side - people all over this country know about it already (ScoobyNet & probably his friends / bbs as well), it's unique, it's never going to get stolen...uhm...it's very...yellow...ish..... LOL.

While this lacks the mechanical poetry of a Lambo Muira SV or a Porsche Carrera GT, there is a certain gritty industrial beauty to those muscular haunches, the snarling bonnet vents and moody lowered stance.
I'll get my coat....
I'll get my coat....
to be fair, apart from the hideous spoiler & ghasly paint job, it isn't a bad effort, especially when viewed from the front.....
...now if there was a twin turbo V6 in the back and 4WD, it would be some piece of work...
..but as it's probably destined to spend the rest of its days as a 1.2L FWD shopping trolley, its a bag o' ****.
the bodykit on that car is a bit like pitting socks in your underpants
