Tried the in car view and didnt like it. The driver and stuff get in the way. And his steering distracts me, talk about a quick rack

 

I was given a copy of PGR2 today as a gift from my neighbour!

Looks like I might have to invest in the live kit at some point over the next few weeks! Although I am playing on XBConnect at the moment.

I was interested what your records are with the STi on the Ring.
I did manage 7:57min., but am sure there's someone faster than me I'm just curious

 

Could we do a tournement for the best time round the Ring in an STi or something? Some of us aren't Live enabled so it'll add a bit of longetivity to the game

Yeah Steve, you just need to complete all the classes.
You can rush through it and get all bronzes and you'll unlock it (the last race is a 2 lap race round the whole Ring!). I managed to go thru on all silvers and I've got 290 kudos tokens left to spend

oooh i'l beat all your times! when ive unlocke it i'l set about unlocking it tonight and i'l post my time up on here as i also dont have live

I'm considering doing Plantinum... considered it, not going to do it.

 

ive been avina good stab at platinum on a few of em, its bloody hard! almost got platinum in the first series i think it is on the speed camera challenge was 1 mph too slow

 

I did the speed camera challenge in the first series about 40 times in a row before I finally got the platinum medal. I was finishing 1mph under the required speed every time and so did get a little frustrated Managed it in the Focus in the end...

 

ive been using the focus but still cant get that 1mph faster grr its frustrating!

Ironically, I think that the first speed camera challenge is probably the hardest in the game. I did all the others (at platinum level) without too much trouble at all.

 

Try manual gears, worked for me.

 

i dont understand gears as i aint got a clue how to drive i just aim the car down the road and press the go button
