Well there's enough people here to make me feel OK about myself!
Now 30, 6', 12 stone something (long while since I weighed myself), 34" trousers need a belt. Smoke about 10 per century at present rate Body fat, lean mass etc all within recommended range last time it was done, and I've got a bit fitter and lighter since. Resting heart rate is 60 ish (42 is seriously fit - well done M8). Cholesterol is regularly off the scale (at the bottom), although blood pressure sometimes a little higher than avereage, it's not dangerously so.
Guess that makes me normal to healthy. So I'll probably die tomorrow.

Could never remember the proper name for it, perhaps the good Doctor John Banks, might know ( icould never read my docs sick notes )
It was basically in the Lymph Nodes, had some removed (and have a nice scar across my neck) had 3 months of Chemo, mainly cisplatinum IIRC,
Came back after 2 years, and beat it again, clean bill of health so to speak these days
Its actually the real reason my nickname became Sonic, as while having the Chemo, all my hair fell out, and when it grew back, it was all spikey, hence everyone used to call me Sonic
Whilst having the Chemo, my mate said I looked like Casper the Ghost

slimmer (by almost five stone )than I've ever been before in my life
My doctor reckons I'm the fittest person he's ever checked out
I'm 24, had a few years (about 6) off from doing anything remotely energetic apart from circuit training a few times a year. My mates who go every week said they could actually see me getting fitter after a couple of sessions and if I went 3 weeks in a row I started to run rings round them - pi$$ed them right off! I'm just lucky that I have quite a good general level of fitness without having to do any training. My lungs are pretty cr@p though (don't smoke regularly) and I dread to think what my cholestorol's like (is there a test you can do?). I've always had a healthy diet at home but a bad one 'on top' as I'm a sucker for junk food. Oh, I'm 6'5"ish and just tipped 14 stone. My Dad's been ill recently and it's made me take a look at my own fitness and try to stay reasonably healthy - I now play 11 a-side football once a week and joined a gym a while back.

That sounds like Hodgkins Lymphoma *Sonic*. Glad to hear you're all clear now.
Edited to say, that's what the girl out of Neighbours (Delta Goodrum?) has been diagnosed with.

Yep been clear for quite a few years now
and I still smoke over 20 a day, always have done, even whilst having Chemo, and before anyone says anything, my Consultant & all the Docs said it was no way related to Smoking, and not once was I ever told to give up, nor even asked about quitting (cept my ex, who gave me nothing but grief about it)
I did actually ask the nurses why the let us smoke, and why we had the only smoke room in the Hospital, and they said they couldnt stop people from smoking, as the additonal stress could have severe consequences
It wasnt Hodgkins, AFAIK, it began with Lymph tho, probably some latin word

Sorry mate. Especially the last sentence, if thats how you feel.
How do you get a fused vertebra?
Is it the artheritis?
