Richard Burns brain tumour
#62
Devastating news - hope Richard can take heart from Lance Armstrong's recovery. I also hope Subaru will stand by Richard in the way that Cofidis most certainly did not with Lance.

Yeah lets hope for a quick and full recovery.
makes you remember that Tumours/Cancer has no prejudice, it can get you never mind how fit you are.
Could sort of explain why he's had a lacklustre last few rallies, that you could tell he didnt enjoy.
Anyone interested in donating anything to charity?, thought about setting up a charity trust for Richard, which he could use to donate money to charities. I will set up a new topic "RICHARD BURNS CHARITY TRUST" anyone thats interested then please reply to the topic, if theres enough interest i will take it further???

Staggered when I heard about this today. Very sad. I hope he makes a full recovery.

Just to add my 2p worth as an [ex] RB5 owner and a huge fan, I was very pleased when Richard signed for Subaru in 2004. Just hoping he ahas a sucessfull and speedy recovery and gets back to form as soon as possible.
