Nope fitting not sorted yet. Got to make some adapter plates Port Shape to Throttle Body Outlet Shape, hopefully going to use phenolic material, DW is going to assist in the manufacture of these items. Once they are bolted in place construction of the inlet manifold and plenum can start.

Going to try and position the turbo on the car over Christmas and look at getting the two up pipes made.

Ever wish you'd not started something....

Perhaps I'll just buy an EVO VIII and be happy with the power...

Paul, do you have the facillity to 3D model from a mould I'm going to take?

Question

I need to get hold of a workshop manual, anybody know where I can get one? Need to get all the torque settings.

If I was considering another vehicle to receive this engine rather than my STi 8 (expensive) what would be the best one?

Wagon? UK Turbo? Type RA? How Old etc?

I agree, anyone that is pumping big money into a scoob engine is 'silly' IMHO

have to give that one to andy.

Personally I don't like doing things on the cheap but andy forgets to include that his expertise is not cheap to other people.

His car has done what it has done because he knows what he is doing and has done what others of us would have to pay for (ie engine strip downs and rebuilds) himself.
