Right lads - this has been going for a while now 
I really could do with people who've asked for prices letting me know if they are still interested at the stated price.
Remember these prices are based on the supplier shifting 100 tyres.
The date for the 215/40/17's "should" be within the next two weeks

i've inquired as to general guidlines on how many want from the various boards 
but i guess as with most group buys until it comes to handing over the wedge it's hard to say for sure.....

just bought 2 215/40 * 17 at £80+vat (£94). that included fitting, valves and balancing. harrys tyres in east belfast. i wouldnt go anywhere else

As there are probably a few of us (me included) who need tyres very very soon - i'm going to speak the the supplier and try and decide on an "order by" date - so the number of tyres sold can be confirmed.
I will set off another thread in which people can confirm their interest.

Brun - I have just phoned my local Brittania, and they confirmed that they are stocking GSD3's, and they are 86.99 fitted and balanced for 205/50/16s!
Let your supplier know, as the price I got is just for me - might ask them if they will do a group buy??

Don't know what to do at the moment, this might become a question of supply for me rather than price.
I can beat the price locally, fitted at your home or place of work, but they can't get them
Interestingly they reckon they can still get the GSD2, which I would prefer.

Sulli - £87 a corner fitted is about the same as the price on the groupbuy. I mean - most tyre places charge £5-7 a tyre fitting anyway which pushes the groupbuy price from £80 a corner to £86 or £87 once you have them put on your car

Mate, just got off the phone with Road Runner who state that they will supply and fit 4 205/50/16 for £360 (all in)
And I get them fitted on Monday. Sorry Brum, just checked my front tyres and they are just too low. Cant risk getting fined.

I spoke to David at tyresonline.net last thursday and he told me yes they had them in stock so I ordered them (gave him credit card details etc).
He called me back 10 minutes later and told me they only had 2 in stock and could not get any more until Goodyear release them (which will be weeks).
I will give him a call later and see whats happening.
