I had to restore my computer the other day,
I lost 300 family pics, and I also had to spend £50 on new fire wall/anti virus programmes, but the good news is its all working ok now!

 

One of my clients was in America last month. She had her laptop with her........... what a mess. She was getting hundreds of emails a day. Her web favourites nearly melted it was so full.
It has been a major problem for her..

She is a very senior person for a major charity. Some of the stuff was so sick. Got to rethink my internet security

 

I can heartily recommend Ad-aware, which should solve all your spyware/trojan problems.

Have you done a full system scan with McAffee? Is your McAffee up to date?

if you get Norton Internet security,it will you switch on a modifyable parental control programme,so you can block out any sites with mucky words in etc.i have switched permanently on,and why have Sys restore off? i would crash my laptop weekly without it

 

I got this with xp a while back it adds a file to the registry somewhere i am no expert my friend sorted it

system restore didn,t work in my case it came back!

 

Had to call in a favour.... Its a very nasty little virus thing that took a very skilled IT person to find.. I am amazed they could bother with such a virus...Also how easy it could be to dump **** on someones computer....

The guy tells me.. he could Put kiddy **** on someones computer and access it with out the other person knowing.... That is realy bloody scary
