just seen the thread, remove me from the participants and put me down as a spectator, will bowl up on the day and say hello. No point putting the heap on the rollers, it goes back in 5 months time anyway (end of lease and i do not think i will be buying it, so not much interest now this late in the day in learning its output)... and cliff, i turned up for the Booker airpark meet, so you have seen me and the car at least once, and more with your spotting talents

yeah i will bring mine, but best to get 2 guys that way you can choose which is the best.Also if you are taking photos doesnt that mean that you have to be there from the first guy to the last???

Good that means you should win dont it? - cant exactly compete against an extra 25% cubic capacity..........

If those are your expected power figures may be close - but lets face it you shouldnt have a problem beating a 2 litre........... unless I can get the rollers to overspin........ nah.......dont think so.........

Thats what i eventually want to aim for but not sure if i will get it on the day. I'm still on the WRX heads and cams(ported) and the turbo as you well know will only be good for 440bhp tops, so being a 2litre is not so much a disadvantage You will probaly beat my power but you won't beat my torque as this is what the extra cc's will help

Just got the car back today and have got to go through all the running in, even more so than a new car. No boost for a couple hundred miles with 4k limit, then new oil and gradually work it up First impresions, it feels torquey and pull cleanly from 2500rpm, can't wait to run some boost through it

So is that a full system from the cat back or just a backbox?

I might just remind you again (heh heh heh) that mine produces 252bhp with just a Prodrive Backbox .... wonder what it would do with a full system .......

 

Turbo back system (downpipe, centre and backbox) - including a sports-cat in the downpipe.

Just don't ask how much it cost!

Be worth it when I change the up-pipe and have an quiet(ish ) MOT legal 280bhp.

 

Oh god - I priced them up the other day .... gulp

I need to get a realistic power figure - just hope that the headers hold out - its about 125 ish miles to Aylesbury I think from Bristol......

There was a thread somewhere on drivetrain or gen tech about NF octane booster, someone said that you can get it from NF direct. It was only sometime lastweek so have a rumage or try a search.
