Possible Group Buy on Eagle F1's
#61
Yeah,
It was from www.tyresonline.net Dont know if theyre still doing the offer. There was two of my crappy little local dealers who just about matched the price.
There was another deal on with crossroads garage who were even cheaper but they had sold out by the time I got on to them.
There was also another dodgy little company whom i found on the internet who were doing the same price with free delivery, but they wernt set up to take credit cards and wanted bank drafts and stuff!
They are out there if you have a good look.
Regards
Guy

Just had fronts replaced with 205/50x16 GS-D3's at Oakham tyres near me, paid £95 each, fitted, thought I was doing well as Kwik fit wanted £120 w**k**s, black circles on the net wanted £106.

Taken from Wheels and Tyres, 31/10/03:
There must be someone out there who'll do a deal for this kind of volume.
I don't think this is going to come-off lads. The discounts he was promised for a large order was not as good as originally offered.
As a result, I don't think this group buy is worth pursuing.
Thanks for all those who did show an interest though!
