TUR80 was also on a Bentley Turbo R in the mid 90's
RED 1 on a Storm Red, Aston Martin V8 Vantage
666DOG on an all black (including wheels) TVR Cerbera
B1ATT on a Ford RS200
2 BAD on a E55 AMG Kompressor
T1NYY on a Smart
FHC 1 on a Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupé
250 GTO on Nick Masons Ferrari 250 GTO
250 SWB on Ferrari 250 short wheel base (my preference of the two)
JET 1 on the Rover gas turbine prototype

I could go on there are so many but think it is time I got my coat lol

I went to an auction to buy ROB1N years ago, had set mysely a limit of £8000 and stuck to it. Plate sold for £8500, was gutted to see it not so long ago up for over £100K.

Been trying to buy 8ORA for months but the bloke wants far more than I want to pay even though he has had it up for sale for months and I know I am offering him a health profit over what he paid for it last year.

Best plate I ever saw was about 5 years ago in London, a green Range Rover with 60D.

GOD, looked like a ****, but got to be worth a fair bit...

Used to see
P5YCO on a supra,
P1LOT on an Audi S8 and
TYP1N on a secretarial managers car (911??)

Check all these supposed plates some people are putting up on one of the insurance websites, quite a few people have a wild imagination.

Our local Porsche dealer in Edinburgh has got THE 911 which is NOT just a showroom plate.....

It is always on the latest 911.....very nice.

Seen it in mags sometimes, so suspect Porsche UK uses it for press stuff too.

Yoza- SH4 GGY, impossible combination.

SHA 66Y, yes, or S114 GGY.

I assume the latter if you have the producers.

JS1 on a Murcielago in a hotel car park.

RET 41L on a merc on the motorway.

Also N1 KKO was sold at the last DVLA auction for £6k which would have been cool for me.

I saw GHOST (i.e. G11 OST) on a BMW a few years back and that looked fab, and FIVER (F1 VER) is on a Merc in Banstead, near where I live.

But my ultimate favourite is PANIC (PAN 1C). It was on a Rolls which overtook me on the way back form Alton Towers about 10 years ago. My girlfried was asleep when it went past me and I had to wake her up to show. Yeah, I was popular

A guy at Ford down here in Essex-land had on a Puma the plate:

S6 BOY

which i thought was pretty witty.

Also, saw a 911 recently with the plate:

911 4RSE

which is cool, as thats what most people will see...

I'm waiting til i get my 911 C4S (dreaming...) so i can have:

911 8EEF

Genius.

I think SNF1 was bought for their Short wheelbase Audi Quattro this car did not last long as a sales rep took it for a spin and wrote it off. I dont hink the owners were very pleased as they are very rare cars.

Mate of mine used to have S44GGY back in 99 when he bought his brand new scoob, He took it off after about a year as the plod kept pulling him as it was arranged SH4GGY

Hi yoza spotted it on yours at Vauxhall on the multiforum meet for the lad with cancer and on the Blackpool drive through. Do you get pulled up regularly then as he did all the time. How long have you had the plate?
