Keeps making a loud wine after full throttle is released (90% of driving then!!).

Anybody traveling on the A57 thro Aston nr junc 31 as I know that I'll get lost !! ha ha

Owler Bar round about is on the A621.. Abbeydale road is A621 so yes just go down abbeydale road n your there !

i think there was a head count of about 8-10 a bit further back up the thread, but there was more interest than that elsewhere, so maybe others just haven't been as vocal on the thread.

as for the partners/kids, i think DazzaPc's wife/GF/? said something about meeting up at the arena square so there's somewhere for the kiddies n stuff.
can someone elaborate on whats happening - if any decisions had been made?

Well my car has finally given up. It keeps over heating and i dont want to risk damaging the head as it has to go on my new engine what im picking up tomorow plus if i did risk it it would be a £1000 for a new one.

I'll most likely be a passenger in my m8s cossie now if he deffintley goes plus there may be a couple more tagging along when they let me no what there plans are.

Be nice though boys there only baby standard cars.

 

Hope you all turn up on SUNDAY 10-30am meet at MOORLANDS PUB, OWLER BAR.Think me and PECCY will have a simple but good route planned(sorry not a full written one etc)and we'll christen PECCYS car as it's finally arrived and it's been carefully looked after by thease girls who also will be there on SUNDAY( no pushing boys)

Normally everyone goes there seperate ways after a run out,so i thought it would be nice to all get together with the Mrs/partners & kiddies Say about 2pm? at the Arena Square PH.....

It also gives a chance for those of us who couldn't make the morning run out,listen to you who did make it and tell us how good a time you had!!!!!!!

Really looking forward to this meet for two reasons :-

1 : First scooby meet I've been to.

2 : Had a number of cars over the past few yrs MR2 , Fiat 20VT and Calibras to name a few but the meets were sooo dull , just sittin in the pub chattin , when all I wanted to do was get out on the Roads and give it some right foot action. Sounds like I've found a group on my wave length!!

well nearly escaped by myself oh well! looks like i've got two passengers ! so if im going slow it a) because one of the little wretchs is puking in the passenger seat/wanting the toilet/some other crappy kid reason, and lets face it, i've just added back all that weight subaru saw fit to take out!!

might be a silly question, but if we're meeting at 10.30 and then at the arena at , supposedly 2.00, is it going to take 3.5hrs along the route??! i dont think my car will hold that much fuel doing 8mpg......

sorry i couldn't make it to the arena - i needed some advice on getting the non working JDM head unit out too.. but i had to go get my daughter some trainers for school.. oh well if anyone's meeting up again soon, count me in! ,
