On the subject of P1's theres a standard unmodded P1 for sale on SN..I'll look in a minute.
Gussy
Why do you need brakes mate..you NEVER slow down. I wouldn't fancy that negative G on the Superleggera's...bound to break a spoke.

Mark, i`ve got more cash for you, all you have to do is, <ahem> please please please fit those godspeeds for me when you`ve got some free time. That way, all the 'brake talk' should die down a bit .
Note to Gussy/Midlife, the godspeeds have been removed from my gaff to a more secure location and into the brake protection program, and i now sleep with one eye open with a knife in one hand.

lol at the question re wheels..
Not as good as the question "what make is the strut brace" when the topic tells you what it is..
BUT
Are you going to sell it to the "dude" with the sob story ?????
As you know I have a wife, two kids, cat and a goldfish called "beady" to support. I'll give you 20 quid for the brakes and a copy of Big Issue for the strut brace !!
do you have a heart or do the large number of women with broken hearts tell their own story ??

Abbey,
Just had my car mot'd which cost me £190 to get it sorted, not a happy chappy to say the least So don't say a word.
Anyway they were saying they are having problems getting your P1 through the emissions test with just a centre section CAT, so I hope you know a nice tester for next year or it could mean swapping the whole exhaust. Just thought I'd warn you in case they don't mention it.

£190 to "get it sorted" for the MOT...
was that £190 worth of work..... or £190 to get somebody to stick the sensor up the nearest ford focus exhaust
Just like to know for future reference for my kitty less Bugeye
Midlife....
PS
Gussy
do you fancy a group buy of two for some godspeed brakes ???
PPS
Hey Abbey...you do have a heart really..restore your tarnished image and reputation with the ladies by letting me have the Godspeed's..you know it makes sense. Try this chat up line next time "Hi, I'm a pilot and I let midlife have my brakes...fancy a **** ??"

The £190 did include the MOT itself, and re-fitting the exhaust as it was blowing, and taking the drivers side rear strut out to re-position the spring. Oh and 2 wiper blades (yer right). But looking on the bright side, I thought it was a rear strut that had gone and nearly paid £1100+VAT for some DMS Close call...
Oh and the emissions were fine, which was nice Not be for long though, hopefully
Midlife,
I do use NF, cool stuff, much better than millers, get no activity on the knocklink with it even upto the redline. Just a bit hard to judge how much has gone in as I am using 1/4 bottle per tank. Still got 5 bottles so I'm in no hurry at the moment.
Abbey,
They have found your P1 has a decat DP (if its spare then can I have it please), which is why they were having problems as they had only re-fitted a centre cat to get it through. So yes the P1 does come with only one cat but yours wasn't standard
Driving a Nissan Almera hire car at the moment (for work) and I can't wait for Friday to get Brutus out and have a play hope the cold weather holds out.

Abby,
Be carefull with the P1 and full decat. I've read of a few on here that have gone pop. Best keep your knocklink. Maybe even a remap to be on the safe side.
