Hi guys.

Just a (distant) thought at the mo, but I'm considering a visit to Mr Bob Rawle with my P1 (Phil Hotham's old machine). Bob always recommends a downpipe is fitted to get the most out of re-mapping. Did it on my wagon to good effect (and kept the pipe!).

Problem is, the guy who fitted it for me is no longer in the area - anyone know someone who could carry out this task for me at a reasonable price?

Big thank's to steven for fitting my down pipe what fun we had everything went way fairly easy

Also told steven what bryn had said about mine having a re-map done on it before i got the car , so steven got the carpet up to have a look at the ECUand geuse what we found?????????? oh am i happy!

whats this ecu called?
is it a big name?

 

not sure m8 it's a black metal box with superchips on it, it's got 2 L.E.Ds on it 1 red and 1 green, all wired in to the subaru ECU, (STEVEN) called it a piggyback ecu that link's on to the subaru ECU



Will have to do some digging around to find out what it doe's exactly, had a look on the superchip's web site and the only one that is listed for my year is £511.97 inc vat!!!!!



when i got home from steven's had another look at it and turned on the ignition both the light's come on, so i think it must be working

 

i thought you needed a switch or something to change between standard ecu and piggyback, but then again i know nothing
