Hi guys,
I've just popped over from the GTOUK club to have a nosey and ask a few questions if I may?
We were discussing where we could hold our monthly Northern area meets, and thought it'd be a good idea to have a look where other car clubs hold their meets, and find out if they get any aggro from the local police, car park owners or landlords. I've had a look at the Hull Scoobs website and saw the details of the Humber Bridge meets, and wondered how you get on with the authorities in the area? The biggest problem we find is that people don't want any groups of car owners in their carparks, based on the behaviour of the chavs in their Corsas and Saxos, or that good pub car parks tend to fill up too quickly!
How would you feel about a joint meet one night there? We normally have between 8 and 16 cars turn up to our Northern meets, though we're hoping to increase this a bit in the better weather. We think it would be cool to start meeting with some of the other car clubs to discuss parts suppliers and common problems with cars!
