Talking Northern Big One

Right then chaps, it's time to start organising our convoy to the NBO2 which is on SUNDAY 13TH JUNE

For those of you who don't know what the NBO is; it is a gathering of Scoobs from all over the UK, all meeting up at Lightwater Valley. There are trade stands, Subaru dealers, parts for sale etc etc, reduced price entry into Lightwater Valley and 400-500 Scoobs parked up in a field

It was a good day out last year, and an opportunity to take the wife/kids/dog/gay lover/whatever with you. I'll be taking Debs and the kids so it'll be a nice peaceful drive, no mad thrashing about (too many mobile speed cameras around for that )

What I propose is that we set off in convoy from Hull and meet up with some of the guys from York/Leeds areas and all convoy up together.

First of all tho, I need to know who's up for it so I can guage the numbers and add all our names to the official list and arrange meeting up with the York boys. SO, if you wanna go, cut & paste the list of names below into a new post.

Steve

NBO2 List
Steve (Scooby New)
Mike (Terzo)
Ian (DBM Newbie)
John (Stickers & neons)

Nice one Pumster - you got the decat downpipe on yet???

Come on you lot, get your names added to the NBO list so I can let the organizers know how many of us to expect. They need to know roughly how many cars are turning up as it's not an easy job arranging the arrival and parking of 500 Scoobs

a11ex - if you think your car is loud with just a backbox, you're in for a VERY big shock if you go the full de-cat route

Karl - I take it you've got yourself a downpipe then? HKS? Where from?

Where's the rally on Sunday??

I need you all to put your thinking caps on and come up with a witty/amusing name for our website - HullScoobs.com is a bit dull Also, if any of you have any pics of your cars, or from meets, or anything Scoob related really, email them to me so I can build them into the website. Especially you Ads 'cos I want to do a page about your car - a history of the transformation from subdued farm-wagon to manic beast

Dont forget, this sunday is the first Elvington RWYB this year and a practice for the Shoot Out.

Believe Trouts car is running, and i may run mine in a gentle manner.

Pum - deffo don't want to use the word "racing"!!!

I was after something subtle but witty, maybe containing "flat4" or "boxer" or "burble" or summat like that. Best I can come up with at the moment is "shelldwellers" as we all seem to spend half our lives filling up with Optimax!
