the story so far
Monday
Well a big thank you goe's out to Mr.Darley today for sorting the scoob out last night
Friday
my car is the same again down to 10 will have a look at weekend
Saturday
as you know i got a problem with the scoob at the mo.
been to BJ's this afty and checked all the pipe's and nothing.
swapped dump valve with his and nothing.
so it look's like the turbo is up the sh1ta!
so first thing in morning bj has told me i should strip the inlet track and have a look at the impella blade's to make sure there all there!
Sunday
ok it look's like its the turbo actuator that's gone.
removed dawe's device and replaced standard boost solenoid.
still 10psi on road test.
took the actuator off and had a look at it, then replaced it and took the car out again.
still only 10 psi boost.
disconected the pipe to the actuator and 25psi which is great for me but not for the car
so it looks like the actuator is not closing fully and letting boost escape.
took the heat sheild off again and adjusted the actuator rod to fully in as far as it would go and still only 10 psi boost?
Mr.D said to try and connect the turbo housing direct to the actuator with a single pipe with the boost solenoid disconnected but still on the road 10 psi
also reset the ECU but no joy.
Monday
ok went to work this morning with 10psi boost!
start to drive home and need to get by a car doing 35 in a 40 zone.
put my foot down and **** me 18psi in every gear????
thats with no dawes device totaly back to standard!
all pipes as they should be!
only prob now is fuel cut in every gear

When's Hitman home? I think it's either this week or next week so I'll have a word with him then. I suppose it'll depend whether he's home or not on the 15th Jan as to whether or not he wants it done.
So how's the car this morning SM???
