Karl - GSXR v Scooby - it all depends on how good a rider he is and what the traffic and road conditions are like. Put it this way, on my bike I have been known to do Scarborough to Hull in 24 mins (on my own personal private road of course ). I'd never get anywhere near that sort of time in the Scoob. The bike has a top speed of around 165mph and the ability to zip in and out of traffic without getting held up. Although Scoobs are quick and handle well, they are wider and therefore more likely to get held up in traffic. In the dry I would be quicker on the bike through the twisties but in the wet the Scoob would be quicker.
Well, next time I post I will hopefully have some good news on the baby front!!
Oh by the way, I ordered some crystal front and side indicators with silvertec bulbs yesterday. Did a bit of haggling with Paul at TSL and got them for £90 all-in (which I thought was pretty good seeing as the fronts alone are usually £75 plus £15 for the silvertec bulbs!). So basically I got the side ones free (which are usually £25 + £12 for the silvertec bulbs!).
See y'all soon

CONGRATS are in order gentlemen!
I don't know how many of you received a text from Steve last night, but the baby was born yesterday.
Details are, exactly as Steve sent me them...
Baby arrived at 15:04 weighing 8lb 15oz. Mummy and baby both well. No name as yet!
He didn't tell me if it was a boy or a girl though..
Suppose he can be forgiven

I assume you have or the importer has fitted a "frequency shifter" to be able to use the radio? Didn't you know they use different frequencies?
Why not just buy a new one??
That will solve ALL your radio problems

0-60 is about 10 seconds. I don't even think its a 16v, I think it might be 8....
It's lovely and comfy, short throw gearbox, nice stereo/CD player, all original Toyota stuff. But it's not 215 bhp, its nearer 115...
Toyota 1.8 ST
Engine:4/1762 BHP:114 MPH Max:124 0-60:10 secs MPG:37.6
Still, lets fill up and set off to Lands End at 80 mph and see who runs out of fuel first
