Hmmmmm, weird! It was just a reply to your PM to say thanks for the link to the TEK3 for sale. I've PM'd the guy but no response yet. Actually if you didn't get my PM then maybe he didn't either?

Well...
After being sent the wrong disks and sending them back (fifteen weeks ago), and then being told I could have a refund (seven weeks ago) I received a cheque and set of pads today
Now, to look for some rear disks.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOFTY, YA GERIATRIC OLD FART...Oh hang on, ain't that someone else ???

I spoke to Ian who said after many hours searching for you he found you discs only to be told you didnt want them , nice to see he tried to help you out then you throw it back in his face...
You forgot to mention that he did originally supply you right discs but you changed your car so he changed the discs for you , it only the fact that discs are like hens teeth for the rear of type R's that's been the problem

ponder2 doesn't work!!!!
What sort of vinyl? Stickers? Easy - clean paintwork, peel off backing paper, apply to paintwork, press down firmly . Or perhaps you are installing a seventies Sweeney-style beige vinyl roof, as seen on Cortinas/Granadas of that era??? If so, then that's a completely different procedure
Pumster - you got it fitted yet???
awd - thanks for your input but we already know the full story.

Oi
AWD,
I'm pretty certain you don't have to stick up for Ian, and yes, I didn't mention that because I'm posting on a local thread (for local people), so we all know what's going on with everybodys cars. These guys knew my old car, what mods I was having done etc and that the disks I ordered arrived after I had sold the car.
What else isn't mentioned here, is the fact that I have praised said persons upgrades numerous times on various threads on SN, stating them to be the dogs bollox.
The problem I had and one that seems common to Ian, is a lack of communication. I know he's a busy guy but it seems he doesn't appreciate people having to chase him up for information and, at the end of the day, how long would you be prepared to wait for something you've been told you could have?
I think my brake upgrade is **** hot, I'll tell anyone that, I'll also tell them - like I've told Ian - I appreciate him trying to get the disks for me, but at over £400 to get them in from Japan, I'll try elsewhere.
I'm sorry m8, but as for throwing anything back in his face that IS bollox.
Thanks!

I'll pick you up Thursday (as long as my noisy Chav Chariot is still welcome round your neck of the woods ).
Not sure what time it'll be just yet but will give you a ring on Thursday. You still got the same mobile number?

Well I see the weather has finally caught up with my mood - dull, grey, depressing, miserable etc etc etc.
Plus I've gotta go down to Oxford tomorrow for a meeting that starts at 10am, which means I'll have to leave home at 5.30 to get there in time, which means I won't be able to get pi55ed tonight, which means my birthday will be ****-****-pants, which means tomorrow I'll be grumpy and resentful, which means the meeting will not go well, which means it'll be a waste of time going, which means I might as well not bother going, which means I could actually just get pi55ed tonight and not bother turning up to the meeting, 'cos the outcome will be exactly the same!
Eh? How did I manage to go full circle on that one?????
