Hey Pete, I love our little chats, particularly when I'm feeling unwell like tonight. You make me smile sooooooooo much!

Did I tell you about one of the trips I had to The Riverside? Client invited me - Champagne reception (except it was cheap, barely drinkable, plonk - I declined of course), guided tour, meal, game (Arsenal scored after 3 mins - sound familiar? ) etc etc.

During the tour, we got the Trophy Room. The Guide showed us the North Yorkshire Senior Cup with such pride. I smiled, my ex Wife sank her nails into my hand and gave me one of her looks, and the Guide snarled, "You're a Newcastle fan aren't you? We're sick of you lot with your 6 FA Cups, 4 League Titles, 1 Fairs (UEFA) Cup, 1 Charity Shield and your 43 games in top flight European competitons!" (it's now 72 of course, soon to be 73!)

I replied, "Ah, you forgot the Northumbria Senior Cup, 2 Texaco Cups, and 1 Anglo Italian Cup. But of course, we don't count those."

Toonman - sorry to hear you're unwell matey - I would be sick as well reading the League Table and seeing the BORO way ahead of NUFC!!!

You appear to be locked in a time warp there Toonman - its all history with the toons, cos they ain't done diddly for years and years!!!

Get well soon, think positive - you 'might' start winning against S****horpe, Reading, Hull and Shrewsbury ........ cos thats where you will be playing soon!!!

Thanks for the good wishes Pete! Just one of the things that happens every now and again when you're Diabetic. Feeling pretty good now though.

As for the teams you mention, we haven't played the likes of them for years, unlike the mighty Boro...!

Remember, when you take on Brighton in the Carling Cup (estimated Smog gate of around 15,000!!! ) on Wednesday night, we play our 73rd game in top flight European competitions. That's 73 more than Boro Pete! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO

Peeenislewis or whatever your name is. We were 2nd bottom last season after 4 games and we finished Third

So if/when we win at the weekend we will have started the season bettert han last year, so who knows where we could finish 2nd or even first who knows.

And we are still in Europe, not the Competition we wanted to be in buts its still a Competition the boro have no chance of getting into
