Wow, awesome road. Hope to get in a scooby and drive that road. Looks like a lot of fun. Need to get used to driving on the left side of the road and driving from the USDM passenger side of the car.

How long is the drive? I noticed on the page it says there's a 50mph limit? How fast do you guys usually drive through there?

Yes definatly at 50 everywhere. lol
Especially around the bends.
It is 11 miles long of the most breathtaking twists and turns you could put on a road. Most of it is 50mph and heavily policed but the Buxton / Derbyshire end is 60mph or (happy zone's).
Tiff Needell ex F1 driver and Motoring Guru./ TV presenter described it as his best drivers road ever.

i have looked on that thread Mad sc and i was tempted but it's a real journey this time. i'd rather just attend the more local macc ones like the idea of the leigh arms/swettenham etc for my first meet.

i would have been on the other ones that happened between june and august but my car was off the road, i saw a few of you down maccys on the silk road but decided not to show my face in a battered carlton!

Pazza, a razz would be fun but.... you will have to wait up for me as i am not blessed with the gifts of a turbo or a 2.0ltr....

another reason why i shy away from these 'drives' i guess
