Beefy,
bit of a long story but basically i contract for a large telecoms company who forced all their contractors onto one contracting agency with a 12.5% pay cut in the process
That 12.5% would have left me nice and dry for running costs on my impreza (i use to earn more but i was made redundant from my last company
) and the impreza isnt really practical for the miles i do (so im looking at something thats still fun but has less running costs).
This is the reason (and i dont really want to sell my baby

) im selling

Gav - Good run out on Wednesday thx m8, how did Edinburgh go?
Tony - Sorry to hear that, sounds like youve been stitched up big-time.
What year, model and spec is the car youre going to be selling as a matter of interest (and without wishing to rub it in)?

Ive gone for a 206 GTi 180, a nice torquey number that can pace my scoob
but its not as quick on out and out power (but 12k service intervals and 150 quid services will see me quite happily until i get a better paid job and then its back to scoob ownership

Chris, yeah its going good now
Thx for the link, any others greatly received.
Tony, that motor is supposed to be very good with 180bhp. I reckon you'll have some fun in it.
Dont be too long without your scooby though!

stephen, it might be an idea to maybe just keep an eye on the other threads in the northern section, and see if you can subscribe to one that interests you when they come up. this one is not really doing anything, no organisation, no meet, no nothing really, just the occasional "top"
Bit pointless really,
Hope to see you on a meet real soon though, keep your eyes peeled for one that actually has some content
