We both handed our notices in today, and start our new jobs week commencing the 22nd Sept... Hooorah!

I went to Chessington World of Adventures last night for a work social outing!
I'm feeling a little jaded today!!! Drinking 4 bottles of Stella, a bottle of Becks, a double vodka and slap up meal before sitting on the Vampire ride for a hour was suprisingly uneventful!!!
Don't worry Frank, I'll make sure the speaker spacers are in the car! Should be there for about 7-7.30pm depending on whether I fall asleep when I get home!!!

Having a nice quite beer or two before facing London Irish in a rugby game, therefore as long as I don't break any bones I will be there. Might not be there to early, as I don't think I will be free from rugby till about six, but we shall see.

Really great meet
Alex please pass on our thanks to the Pub, they did a fatastic job even if the wait for food was long. It's understandable with the numbers there.
I still want a GT40!!!!

Great meet, loads of cars to see. The food queue did pause for quite a while (they had to go re-load on buns and things I think) at one point but there were a lot of people there.
I'm sure they could fit a load more cars on the grass there, must have been around 70-90ish (ish... ish...) cars there? Good to see the old (old) Jag's too.
Looking at my digi-cam pics I only have some of that lovely (yeah, go on... lovely...) dark red pearlescat(/mica) corvette - want that colour on my next car. Others will have to wait to be developed, but rest assured I've got loads, and hopefully enough taken down the row to stitch them all together for one long one; for the landlord and anyone else who fancies a print. I'll put them up here/a link to them on my website once they're developed and I can scan them in. Give it a week. I'll post to this thread.

Top night.
Andy and I, thanked the land lord before leaving, Justin seems a nice bloke.
Good to catch up with you lot, I'll be attending more events from now on, as the new job isn't as unpredictable hours wise.
Take it easy, Alex

Traffic wasn't as bad on the way up as I had expected actually, but then I only went up the A3 not on the M25 or away from London anytime.
