Depends on how many of us there are. I've come up with a couple of pubs:
Dry Docks(Welford Road): cheerful but parking is limitted to approx. 15-20, food's ok I guess
Oadby Grange(A6): Pretty cool beer garden over looking the parking. Approx 25-30 cars if not more, foods pretty good.
Royal Oak(A1599, Leicester Road, Wigston): Again, nice beer garden out back next to the car park. Not eaten here recently but there's a new chinese menu to go with the Sunday Roast...hmmmmm
Am open to anyother suggestions any one else might have....
A non-pub idea: Bradgate park.... amazing drive around that area..... with a couple of nice small pubs scattered around... (OK, so I lied, there has to be a pub on-route!!!!)
How does this Sunday sound ??? Should be back from Castle Coombe sober enough for a meet on Sunday...

oadby grange is a good idea, it is a big car park and as you say food's ok and beer's ok - no better combination IMO.
Sunday would be good as weather is still supposed to be good!

As i say dunno one pub from another in Leicester but i'm game as long as it's not clashing with other meets etc, 31st is a derby notts meet & 7th is trax other than that all free as far as i know

i shall be out and about tonight looking for the local 'cruise' wherever it is tonight if anyones about, should be poss sainsburys, safeways or asda at thurmaston. Wherever it is, i'll find it

what is that golf course place goin towards oadbury or summin... surely the car park is beg enuff there and they must sell alcoholic beverages....

yes i am going gari, got my tickets and carpark pass the other day. But i think that i am going down to stay at a mates the night before now. If your about tonight i shall meet you then. Thurmaston me thinks too!!

If that's a final decision on location can we clarify times etc, 14:00 on is usual plan, & either start a new thread with details in title or at least edit the first post so the details are in there so people dont have to go thru pages & pages just to find out wot the plan is as i can see this running to a few pages even in such a short time 
lmao.
I can & will also stick a thread on a few other boards as well as sending out the details to my scooby meet mailing list
I can also stick a map up if you can confirm venue..........

So the question is..... are we meetimg this coming Sunday (17th) or next weekend (24th)
Couldn't do Thurmaston last night. Where do you guys meet up there anyway ? Will deifnately make a note to make it next time.

Thurmaston last night was usual, full of kids driving like kn@bs trying to impress people, little bit too dangerous for me in an asda carpark, no wonder the police try to stop these things 
seen arm there but didn't speak
quite normal night until the drive home 'cause me and rob left at the same time as a luuurvly 996 carrera left and he wanted to play
.......so we played....or I did 'cause rob was in a borrowed standard pulsar gtir and couldn't keep up with me......
..........neither could the porka, not through not trying, he was well sideways rob said the view of us both in front of him was fantastic

Glad to see i'm not the only one with the stutter!!
Next Sunday would be better, gives people a bit more notice. Also it's the Bank Holiday weekend so no work the next day!!
I agree start a new thread once the descision has been made with date location and time.
