Now, I love the sound of an impreza as much as anybody. I amuse myself in the garden by spotting the sound of an approaching scooby long before it appears (once got confused by the sound of a bus and a big ol' motorbike approaching together- embarrassing or what?) but a big trumpet just looks so goddamn cheap. Like an empty family-sized tin of baked beans strapped to the back. Stealth rules!

So you have a straight through 3" exhaust to improve performance, buy a quality bit of kit like a Blitz Nur Spec ? Now your a **** ? thats a bit harsh you don't even know me..... Everybody thankfully doesn't think the same.....people have commented and how good my car sounds, the flat four burble is a wonderfull sound a nova with the same zorst is NOT going to sound the same.

The Impreza has a great sound and a lovely burble - BUT why do **** have to make ME listen to their bl00dy exhaust note when I might just want a quiet lay in my garden?????? They have NO right to - however nice the sound to THEIR ears!!
Its the reason that there is a limit as to the maximum decibels a car can emit - and most of the BIG BORE boys are illegal!!
So, STOP IT NOW!!!! remove your drainpipes and lets all have a quiet life!!

PSL - each to their own. We dont take offence to old ******* who have nohing to do but annoy people on these forums (SN, MX5 etc etc)

because it improves low down torque and helps improve performance,
simple it also sound quite nice, you by a fast car to drive fast if its to noisy, I'm not apologising,
matter of taste but your standard scoob will only being seeing the back bumper of a tuned car

Yes my car has gold wheels, reserved for only the best limted edition Imprezas.
Loud exhaust, better than some of the rubbish in the charts they call music.
