Rover 220GSi - nice car to drive, although in terms of speed the Scooby opened my eyes, had to go as it left oil all over my bosses drive - that was 3 scoobies ago

1st car when i was 20 was my dream car
a black clio 16v with leather seats
however within the year, the exhaust fell off, (rusty.rotten)
the roof leaked too, so wheni cam out of the car it seems i have peed myself.
i got rid of it and got a pug 306 XSI
(i know "what was i thinking")FAV colour too BLACK
bought a body kit, which I NEVER fitted , still in garage offers anyone?
then got my nice "REX"

Rover 220 GSi Turbo - when like sh*t off a stick in the dry, but then I broke the LSD, and couldn't afford a replacement, so had a standard 220 diff put on in place! That was interesting in the wet...

A company provided Passat petrol Turbo "sport" estate- boring and crap handling but OK in a free car sort of way. Also had a lot of build quality issues just like the other 3 passats I had previously (power steering failed, immobiliser blew up, bits fell off) surprising for a VW.

Think I can beat most of these posted so far :
F Reg Metro 1.3 City with dodgy brakes for about 6 months.
Although that was just something to keep me going (as it was free) after selling my Citroen ZX Volcane TD.

1988 Lancia Delta HF Integrale.
The car was a blast to drive, and much more a toy than the 2003 WRX in standard trim. It had incredible steering feel, responsive engine, not a beginners car on snow/gravel due to the ferguson diff and front/rear distribution, ... Most of the reason for this was offcourse the ammount of money I put into it rebuilding the engine and upgrading suspention components..
The reason I opted for the WRX is that there's not really an option if you want a 4wd turbocharged "Rally" car theese days, and the Impreza GT/WRX always made me grin when I saw one Even the latest Integrales are almost 10 years old, and I wanted something new.

Classic Scooby Wagon before current WRX03 Wagon
Before the Scooby bug bit - an old Cherokee Jeep.
Great engine (bullet-proof), lurid slides on wet roundabouts.
Changed to Scoob for improved (sic) fuel economy!

Ohhh Mike, if it wasn't for scratch I think that you would be winning this with your N plate Rover 111 Kensington (although he did have a Modded Seat Cupra before that which seems to be a popular move with a few others on here too!)
