Sorry didnt catch the exact spec of the Turbo??

the GT30/Scooby exhaust housing??(which I guess you have)which is the one that Turbo Dynamics say Bob has on his car......... those Garrett compressors cost a fortune......

404 - I guess you'll be expecting much more soon...........

You must have spent a bit of money at RCM! my car was there in December for the Internals on a crappy STI5

G-Force were indeed running an sti7 at over 400bhp, think it was at 420 when we (Wales mob) were there for our rolling road day. Their car was also at NBO where I remember they had had a play with the cam timing and moved it up to circa 450 or possibly higher. That was on standard internals as well!! Reason for them keeping the internals standard apparantely (according to Chris) was that they wanted to run the car until it blew up to get a better understanding of what would fail, and why.
I haven't spoken to them for a while, but I would be surprised if they hadn't moved it on a bit further since then!!

They have - today - with a full 3.5" APS system. Chris reckons it sounds nice Anyone close enough to go for a quick listen? No figures mentioned and no point is guessing - maybe Chris will provide a proper update?

Cool

NICE, possibly the most powerful newage in the country, don't think the standard internals will last long though

Chris was fairly optimistic actually, he basically wants the thing to blow up, but I remember him saying that the cams in the sti are of such a good design that that may atually compensate for the material weaknesses. Or something to that effect as I am a bit of a technophobe!
Most impressive of all though was that the torque curve on the dyno was a very straight line, with similar torque all the way through the rev-range. Although dissapointingly I can't remember the figures.

Friend of mine??with lots of $$$$ spend on it, But it appears 400hp it gets a bit too pushy for internals .
Ouite few with 350hp seem to be ok.

Cheers

Hre at G-Force Motorsport we've just run 405bhp on an STi 7 at 1.3 Bar - I'd love to tell you all about it - but........

I also believe the APS guys in Auz are now running 500HP on there Sti 7 still on standard internals and all with just bolt on bits. I believe its currently going through its time period to see how reliable it will be and for how long? Once this is completed the bits are going to make there way to these shores to bolt onto the previous threads demo car! Should be interesting.....

Daz, now you have taken the mic off the helmet, and you now have an extra 30+bhp, i think you would beat me on the 1/4 now.

Well done, to a bloke who likes his scoob.
